My computer turns itself off because it overheats. Is there a widget to monitor the temperature?
My computer shuts down all by itself and there was a message on the screen, it was because it overheats. I cleaned all the dust out using compressed air and the fans seem to be working well. But I was wondering if the widget can monitor the temperature of my computer so I can see when it's getting close to overheating. To all those hard working people who answer questions on Security.....?
what erks me the most ...is i do my best to answer a question ...then get a question from the same person who i answered wanting more information....not only did they e-mail me once...but six diffrent times...then found out they selected another answer even though no other answers were given....what the heck is up with that....I think i need a vacation from Yahoo A/Q security for awhile...and what really bothers me...is the number of people who ask questions and don't have the courtesy to select a best answer......I learned to solve all my computer problems and security issues by going on websites dealing with those problems...I wish some of these people who ask these questions would do the same thing...and how many times have you seen these questions >>> What is the best antivirus ?.....I lost my password - help ??...what is a good free antivirus product ?....the same questions 20 to 30 times a day.....I think i need a break....a vacation....what do you think ??
Yes Michael you need a break, I've taken them a couple of times for a few months at a time.You kind of just burn out. The same questions, that all they would have to do in put it in the search bar where it says what are you looking for. I used to have a lot of information on my public view, and would help users clean out their computers, but they could not follow simple instructions or would just leave out something because they didn't think that was it. Just mess up hours of my time, when if they would have follow the steps it would not have taken very long to fix. I'm going over everything wondering what I'm dealing with and then find out the dim wit didn't follow steps I told them to. So I no longer waste my time, I just send them to one of the sites that will help with removal of malware.
