How do I format my Toshiba Satellite Pro M30 Series Laptop?

Ive tried to bring up the menu system on startup, but just do not appear, also when you insert the Windows XP laptop disk reads but does nothing with it I've managed to boot from the CD text but when you press any key on the computer laptop just beeps and does nothing, help pleasee!

Press "DEL" right when it starts every time all the way to computers BIOS.Some have to press F11 or F2. Find out what what Toshiba.Then to push for changing the boot order to CD-HDD-Floppy and then F10.Put on the CD and start the computer and directions fallow after that you need to install drivers for your hardware should be in a support CD. Hope this helps.
