Question RMS amps?

It is true that your RMS amplifer doubbled should equall maxx power speakers in your car say amp 60-150 RMS speakers should be 100RMS and max power of 300 watts

not really. If it is a really good / expensive then RMS amplifier can be half the maximum power. Amplifiers must have The bottom of the RMS is less than half, because the amp isn't as efficient power amplifier and the other trying to put out just to heat. Just to be on the safe side dont worry max power cuz it really doesn't mean much. Only to find a good amp with a good RMS, and then to find speakers who can deal with a slightly higher RMS amplifier is then outputing. This helps make sure you dont blow up the speakers.
